OK, I give in. I get so many calls and questions about this “GOD” thing, that I have no choice, I will give you my thoughts on the matter this ONCE, and that will be that, because surely there are those with more established credibility than myself. However, within the confines of my personal belief system, I believe everyone can speak to this to this subject with personal experience and environmental foundation, and they can do just as well as anyone. BUT, since it is relevant to so many of my postings on this blog, I find it a “reasonable enough” request to answer since the very nature of this blog is intimately related to this subject matter.
In the minds of most, God: is the supreme being, the creator and ruler of the Universe, the principal object of “Faith”. The entity that created creation. God is the guy (or woman) you pray to, right after your house burns to the ground. He has that incredible house where you can go and be forgiven for your sins. God is omnipotent.
One can’t prove that GOD is living, One can’t prove that GOD is dead…….Is man a fabrication, of GODS imagination? Or is GOD a fabrication of man? HUGE questions. Men have been doing this forever………..
Now, please allow me to show you around the living room of my mind! My personal take on this is quite simple, and for those of you who have been following this blog, you already know what I’m about to say, (I thank you for that). I believe we should include both scientific understanding as well as spiritual understanding, when speaking on the subject of GOD.
We know for a FACT (through physics and cosmology) that it only requires 3 things to create everything in the known universe. Those things are, MATTER (or mass), ENERGY, and SPACE. We know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that these are the building blocks of everything we know. This was believed to be truth until our friend Albert Einstein came along and made it even easier to understand. The absolute truth of the matter is (and this is what Einstein proved) that MATTER and ENERGY are two sides of the same coin. Which leaves us with the beauty of it ALL. There are only TWO things required to create the universe, ENERGY and SPACE, and because we now know that Space is simply negative Energy we can quite easily understand that EVERYTHING is energy……THE ABOVE THOUGHTS AND SCIENTIFIC TRUTHS cannot be denied, These are proven facts. They are LAW. There is no changing this law. It just IS.
My entire blog was begun because I wanted to point out, highlight, SCREAM OUT, that everything we are is ENERGY. If you have been following my posts then you know I am not kidding. I (Tony Taylor) believe that we are all beings of light and love, we are ENERGY in its purest form. We are capable of manipulating this energy. We are GLORIOUS beings of light. We are constantly evolving through lifetimes of experiences, preparing ourselves through experience to get to a point where we are capable of comprehending the enormity of GOD. Language (as we know it) is not capable of describing what GOD is. GOD is unfathomable. NOW HERE IS WHERE THE WRENCH IN THE ENTIRE BELIEF SYSTEM COMES IN!!! FAITH……yes FAITH!! Let me say that again…FAITH!! This is why I believe in God. Because I believe we are evolving beings of light or ENERGY. We are evolving constantly in attempt to acquire enough “experience” to be able to bridge the gap (the place where time no longer exists) in a black hole, which is the only place where time does not exist. It is beyond the known boundaries of our universe where we will eventually find, what we commonly refer to as GOD. But, we cannot do it without taking the leap of Faith, to just beyond the point where time no longer exists, taking that mind blowing leap of FAITH………is the place where we finally sit down to converse, with………GOD!! I am Dartanion2, and that’s the way I see it…………………t xxx…………cheers
Well you certainly know how to get this little tin can of mine ticking over when you write.
When I was a child someone asked my teacher a question that put her off her train of thought instantly!! she was at the time trying to teach us about Jesus and the bible. The child asked her ” Miss if God made Jesus and he made all of us! then who made God??? who is Gods Mummy and Daddy?? I have never forgotten that question, for two reasons!! One the look on the teachers face when she didn`t have an answer for him and the second reason is that it is a very good question and one that we will not get the answer to until we each reach the other side of this life experience.
Those sorts of questions in my opinion are ones that we are not meant to have answer`s for, because if we got those answers too easily then man would no longer feel the need to strive and would probably give up learning about life. It is that lack of information or unanswered questions that keeps us wanting to learn and progress.
I personally feel that we are all of the one spirit, we are each a piece of God. We all look different but on the inside we are all exactly the same. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. It is up to us what we do with that experience and that is why we have been given free will. God gave us the basics and then allowed us to run with it!! It is up to us what we do with it. Thankfully there are more people who choose to do good with their lives than there are of those who choose to go against God. We must all teach love and understanding to our children in the hope of insuring their future and the planets future. That is just one of the tasks he asks of us all.
Go where no one has gone
But leave a trail so that they may follow!
Love G xx
Hi Georgie, I think you and I are completely “sympatico” where faith and God are concerned. As I said, and as you have just pointed out as well, we are all a part of the same thing. We are beings of light and love, attempting through many experiences (and lifetimes of experience) to understand the nature of our existence as inheritors of purest energy, and ultimately, passing our findings on to others, with love and kindness and with the “faith” that we will someday embrace that thing we all refer to as …”GOD!”…….hugs-n-smiles my friend…….t xxx
Interesting blog Tony. I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on the nature of faith,
god, and the universe in general. (still agnostic here.) I’ts interesting you mention
how we are Beings of Light attempting through many experiences and lifetimes to
understand. I find that a fascinating idea..though I’m curious how one would gain
access to Memories from those other lifetimes in order to assist their current growth?
Most seem unaware of any of their past life experiences, and limited by whatever
knowledge they’ve acquired in this one.
What Georgina mentions is interesting as well, similar to a Panentheism scenario.
(though there are many offshoots of panentheism when it comes to identity-retention)
Hey Jeremy, I’m working on an upcoming post about reincarnation and “past life regression”……some heavy stuff by EDGAR CAYCE the “Sleeping Prophet” will be involved, may have some answers for you. Thanks for all your posts J….you are creating a following of your own here, already got an email about you……..please keep coming back my friend, anything I can do………..t xx
There are some who see god as “A Universal Conscience
that has always existed, and eventually separated into
various modes, objects, and representations as a way to
combat the loneliness of self.” In this scenario god is essentially
a Universal conscience Objectively Dreaming everything into existence,
and We (people) are it’s dreams. One of the problems this theory
raises is (of course) the Problem of Identity, and Freewill. In the
scenario of a Universal Conscience dreaming everything into being,
it would be hard to imagine that anyone genuinely has Freewill in the
traditional sense..because any choice or action would be 1) pre-determined
by an all-knowing, all powerful God, and 2) a Reflection of that Gods Will independent of a Free-Agent.
So in the context of Universal Dissociation (as I’ve come to call it.)
Most would argue that there is no genuine “Freedom”. What was
formerly considered Free Choices, or Free Actions, would be little
more than The Unconscious Reactions of a Primary Source of Existence.
Of course (concerning various religions) the argument can also be
raised that the majority of Religious Individuals do not Choose to have
faith or believe so much as they React To Indoctrinated Conditioning.
Indoctrination involves the incalculation of ideas, beliefs, attitudes etc
into the minds of people before the age of consent, and there is never
any genuine Critical Thinking involved. (questioning any and all assumptions
regardless of the authority of a source in order to form ones own opinion.)
For an example, lets imagine a 5 year old child…you tell that child “this
is the truth, and you must do this, if you do not do this, you will be punished.”
At such an early age that child is pre-disposed to obey the instructions of
his parent/authority figure, and is going to act accordingly as he is told.
As the child gets older, he is less likely to start critically examining the things
around him enough to form his own belief because he carries the unconscious
fears of alienation within him and does not want to be “punished or alienated”
for believing otherwise. (there are of course always exceptions to this rule
but for the most part indoctrination is so powerful that the cycle is rarely broken.)
I LOVE what you say about faith and find it IMPORTANT, because it is
(in your context) a matter of Critical Thinking, and would assist in the
expansion of consciousness. It’s a matter of GROWTH, rather than merely
perpetuating a cycle of indoctrination in order to maintain the values of
a tradition.
good work my friend..and i apologize for the Digressing I did here,
and length of my post.
Jeremy you are wise beyond your years, the fact that you are even aware of the profound effects of “indoctrination” speaks volumes about your ever expanding consciousness. You have touched on what I consider to be the “Key” to the ultimate library, when you mention “Faith”, tread lightly my friend, because I will fight fiercely when defending my beliefs concerning “FAITH” however, I always welcome a healthy dialogue. (lol)….you’re kinda intimidating with that big brain of yours…..LOVE It…..you have been such an impact on me……never leave my friend……….the world could use a few more Jeremy’s…………….smiles………..t xx
Wow. Does God exist? I once read a book about a man who scientifically tried to answer the question once and for all. Naive as I was I was excited to get to the part in the book where the author actually proved the existence of God scientifically ‘once and for all’. Of cause all the book did was leave more questions and no answers.
Then I came to the conclusion, that my own beliefs about God are personal and deeply engrained in my mind. They can’t really be changed. It doesn’t sound very progressive or even intelligent, really. Jeremy Hennessee is completly right, about putting somthing into a childs mind. I grew up believing in God, I was told as a child there is a God and still with all my mind believe there is a God. Bad things have happened in my life, sure. I have even questioned God, and suggested that He does not exist. But a child at some point with circumstance may question the authenticity of his parents. I know I have. But that alone can’t change what is factual, or with a clear mind–what they believe to be factual. Yes I believe God is real.
But can I prove it in some way to a person who does not believe as I do? Hell no! Can I prove to a beautiful woman that I’m a better lover than anyone she has ever had, with mere words? I think not. Although…lol. I digress, Tony. God doesn’t want His existence vindicated with words, anyway. He wants His character to be demonstrated. So it is most important that we show God by the way we live our lives and treat others. If you feed a hungry child does that child turn around and ask you your beliefs? It would be unusual I think. If everyone who believed in some kind of God demonstrated kindness and consideration for others…characteristics of their version of God, I would be content with the results. And we can arm wrestle or have a tug o war contest to figure out who gets credit for living in a pretty cool world.
I believe even athiests and scientists believe in some kind of ‘good’ power. Even if they think it’s alien in origin or built into each and every one of us since we crawled out of ‘magic’ life giving dust particles a thousand trillion years ago, when ‘magic’ life giving dust particles were in their prime–but most everyone believes; I hope anyway in some kind of good we can replacate.
Sorry I went on so long Tony. Yes I believe in God. Now organized religion, which I’m still a part of…yikes!!!!
Hey Curtis, thanks so much for commenting here. You know what popped into my head as I read your words? 2001: A Space Oddysey…….Kubrick’s flawless masterpiece……the first 32 minutes of that film deal “specifically” with the “Magic” dust particles you have touched on. If you’ve seen it then you know what I’m talking about. If you haven’t, then read my post from early June on the film so you’ll be prepared for one of the most amazing, if not “THE” greatest film ever made. But you must be prepared before viewing it………..I hope you haven’t because then I am assured of hearing from you again……….your friend and admirer……t xx
Two really interesting theories from both Jeremy and Curtis, I loved reading those, such intelligence and superb logic.
If you had asked me the question of do I believe in God 8 years ago, I probably would have said no not yet, I would like to have proof first. I have been given that proof, very personal proof. So I am really still learning and seeing life very differently because of my proof.
My parents believed in God but were not church gowers, my father was a catholic but he didn`t practice or go to mass or anything. I think after what he experienced in the forces made him question God and I think he was angry with him also. But that didn`t affect my childhood. My Dad wouldn`t discuss religion, to him it was the cause of all the worlds ills, or rather the people who preached were the cause of the problems. Which is a fair point really, because it is all the extremists in the world that do destroy peace. My Mother believed quietly within herself but never really pushed the point over to us or demanded that we believe, but she did tell me off if I said anything rude about God.
With my own children, my husband and myself have always said that it is up to them to make their own minds up about God, and they knew they were free to talk or ask questions when ever they felt the need. It is quite strange that as they were growing up they decided to do volunteer work with our local Methodist church and they loved going to the services all six children! and they are all very independant and strong minded people.
So giving them their freedom to make their own decisions and come to their own conclusions was for us the right thing to do for them, and they in turn have been bringing up their own children the same way.
I do believe in a higher power as I said I`ve recieved my proof.
I think it`s important to allow children the freedom to make their own minds up and this could very well benefit future generations. I think all the repetative forcing that some religions practice are just a form of brainwashing and I feel is just wrong.
God I`m sure doesn`t want to hear us all saying the same things repetatively, he would much rather we go out in the world and make it a loving and safe place to live for all nations.
Love G xx
Georgie, I followed your words with intense understanding, I never had religion forced upon me either…..but I chose to participate only to be disappointed by some Catholic Priests….of course later I came to know God in my own time and manner but, what I gathered intuitively from your words was even simpler………you are a “Highly” spiritual individual with God-given intuitive abilities reaching well beyond the norm……you are a great Teacher my friend……….much love………t xx
WOW!! I`ve never had discusions like this before and it is fascinating having someone else understand me and the way I think! I have learned so much in the last five years and I know it is my son teaching me as I`ve always said he is a very old soul and has been here before.
Have you ever watched the series Angels? With the superb actress Della Reece I love to watch it and have seen the series several times now and each time I watch it I find myself learning something new about life and also myself. I would love to meet the writers.
Thank you for those wonderful words T` they mean a great deal to me and I will never forget them honey. You are also in turn teaching me. Do you see how positive spiritual love is and how rewarding spiritually giving love to others, not just your own family! is? It teaches us so much and helps to make our own little piece of the universe such a pleasure.
Keep up your teachings honey and please know that you yourself are wiser than you realise.
I love you very much sweety.

I definitely believe in God. He has shown me in manifestations of proof over and over in my life. We have to go seeking Him with a most humble heart for Him to reveal His will and presence. One example of why I have deep faith in God is because I had a very real visit/vision of Christ many years ago. I was pregnant, by fertility treatments, because I suffered infertility problems. I was two months along, when one evening, as I was reading in bed, a bright light came in the corner of my bedroom. It became brighter and brighter and filled my room. Then Jesus appeared. He touched me and I became as a child before him. He spoke with calming words that came out sounding like a pouring waterfall out of his mouth! It was not human language, yet He allowed me to understand. In reverberating glorious sounds, he spoke to me and told me that I was going to miscarry my baby. He told me not to be fearful, that it was all part of His Father’s plan, and that I would go on to have many children. I was mesmerized by him. His eyes had these swirling flames of fire inside, and his skin was bronze and his hair short and dark, with little ringlets in the back. His nose was and forehead were broad. Flames of fire swirled all around from his waist down, in a slow purposeful motion. But I could see his feet. Lol After he spoke to me, he was swallowed into the light, but the feeling and warmth of His presence stayed in my room in that corner where he first appeared for many hours. I was at peace. And, true to his words, late in the night, I began bleeding and lost my baby the next day. But I also decided not to do fertility treatments anymore, because I had faith in His words. And indeed, despite my doctor’s warnings that I could not conceive, I got pregnant the very next month. I had a healthy problem free pregnancy….and went on to have four children…all naturally…without fertility help. I believe Jesus appeared to me because I was very open and intune with my inner spirit. I opened myself up without resistance. Since that day, I have visions in my sleep at times of spiritual nature, and I rely on God’s words in the Bible with faith…because I know God’s son, Jesus is real. When He visited me, I felt how very real our inner spirits are a part of God, and it was charged in energy and love. Incredibly euphoric feeling. The spirit inside us is perfect,,,,just encased in a fleshly imperfect body that has to experience trials in this life that affect how we see life…but if we tap into that inner spirit….Wow! We are a part of a perfect creator that loves us so much! That is why we should love each other. 🙂
Hi Cherie, sharing that kind of story can’t be easy my friend. The fact that you did, is a testament to your “Faith” and that is something that no one can ever take from you, and in the eyes of those that choose to read this blog, you are a hero. Thank you for placing your heart out there for all to see…….yours is a blessed soul………your friend……….t xx
Reblogged this on Metaphysics and the Movies according to Dartanion2 and commented:
Aside from questions on energy or telepathy I get a lot of questions about God and although there will be a most thorough posting to come, I will re-post my initial thoughts here today. The doctor told me yesterday that my new medicine regimen will begin today so I should be myself here In a day or so. I will be continuing with more personal insights to Metaphysics and God. Thanks so much to Spain and Brazil these last few days and of course England where so many followers of this blog remain loyal daily……….my utmost appreciation to you all. …….smiles………tony
