No, that’s a saguaro, common in the desert, peyote is a small plant, about 3-5 inches in diameter, you can find them easily, with the right tracker………you can find the in small desert towns for very low rates…………t xxx
Fascinating stuff my friend. I’ve always believed that humans are capable of much more than they display, and the ability to stop the world, even if metaphorically–is enough of a reason to search for the higher truth even just to expand and exercise our understanding. It’s a progressive idea. I admire your thirst for truth, Tony but I’ve not heard of Carlos Castaneda before. Will google.
Coming from a protestant Christian back ground with not always traditional beliefs (seventh-day adventist) I certainly find my point of view to be pigeon holed when it comes to outside the bible truth. But I respect more the searching of a person if they clearly identify themselves as outside the bible. Instead of some who expand on the bible or mold it to their own set in stone doctrines. You articulated your spiritual journey as being outside the bible, clearly.
I’m not saying there’s anything right or wrong in looking outside the bible, but it puts someone like me who holds certain beliefs in the position of a student not sure of what they want to study when it comes to spiritual matters. But you’ve sparked enough interest with this article to read up on some of what you’ve mentioned. So I commend you. This old dog is not always open to the learning of new tricks. You’ve shown me lots to ponder, Tony.
Is that the Payote plant in the picture??
