When you actually take the time to sit back and think about what it is that Nature really is, it becomes a “ballet” really. Nature satisfies our souls purely by its beauty alone. It was this beauty that prompted us to form sounds, and then words, so that we could describe what it was that we were seeing. The ancient Greeks used to call the world “BEAUTY”. It’s our eyes that have been the main conveyer and processor. The human “eye” is like the best artist ever known. It is the eye that observes motion, light, the effects of light on objects, and the observation of these unmutable laws that provides us with that all powerful idea of “Perspective”. I mean think about it. Take the ugliest thing you can imagine and then imagine shining incredibly intense bright light on it, what happens? That thing becomes quite beautiful in the “Light” doesn’t it? It’s this perspective that keeps our eyes intrigued and constantly re-interpreting what they see. The human body, the majesty of the mountains, trees, flowers, the sky and so on, are all beautiful and open to interpretation. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” is a literal truth that we have all come to use as cliche’ expression. The more you sit back and consider the nature of beauty the more the word “Aspect” seems to pop up into the equation. The aspects of beauty are incredibly numerous. What about one of the most profound? The aspect under which the beauty of the world can be viewed as it becomes an “aspect” of the intellect. The intellect seeks out the perfect order in things as we imagine they would be in the mind of God. It’s really the only way we have of determining a basis or “playing field” for these philosophical determinations. When someone produces a work of art it throws a light on the mystery of humanity. After all, we are constantly trying to answer questions about who we are and where we come from. The nature of beauty is the obvious place to start, it’s what we see every day. And the more we see our observations being interpreted by other peoples inspiration and creativity our idea of beauty grows exponentially. The beauty of nature can be so overwhelming that it can break down a fully grown human being and break it down into tears in just a matter of moments. The beauty of nature is a living thing that is so powerful that it actually disguises itself as the nature of beauty. A mind trip to say the least. One of my favorite quotes goes something like this, “In private places, among a myriad of objects, an act of heroism seems at once to draw to itself the sky as it’s temple, the sun as it’s candle….” If nature reaches out to our intellect in such grandiose terms then our only hope is that our thoughts rise up with equal awesomeness. The entire time I sat back considering these thoughts on the nature of beauty, my mind could not help but wonder about that which we would call unnatural. Like HEAVEN. What must heaven be like in terms of beauty. It must be so beautiful that we simply lack the vocabulary to describe it. And if there exists such a place then as students of life, shouldn’t we be writing more poems and doing more paintings about beauty? For surely the nature of beauty has something to teach us. And since we DO seem to have a capacity for learning, shouldn’t we dedicate some of our time just, sitting back, and smiling at the beauty and the wonder of it all? GOD is sure one smart cookie. I Love being alive……..smiles!!!…………………….I am Dartanion2…….and that’s the way I see it…………cheers………..t xx ps.. I apologize if this came out as some long rambling……..it was late, and I was very happy, having been inspired by a woman of great beauty herself……….smiles T x

Gosh that was certainly not rambling sweety, it was beauty in itself! the beauty of the simple written word, something you are very talented at doing. We all need to sit back and take time out for ourselves to appreciate the beauty of our planet and give our thanks to the Lord for giving it to us and I think love is the most beautiful thing of all creation. Aren`t we lucky just to experience its wonder and joy.
We should put all our efforts in to looking after our wonderful home and it really is true of that old saying that you quote.
I love to learn about the Budhist religion because they value all life from the smallest insect to the heavens above and they have a lot to teach us about our beautiful world. They are very wise and show us how to love in the simplest and most effective form. I enjoyed this piece as it was refreshing to read. I would love to know who was the person who inspired you to think about all this.
A lovely piece, well done sweety.
I love you

Hi G, very cool that you were able to appreciate the that quote my friend. And then you asked me at the end who inspired me to ponder the topic in the first place. Well G, that would be ‘ol friend Ralph Waldo Emerson….one of my favorite writers and observers of life. If you ever get the chance……..you will not be disappointed G…….he’s a VERY big influence on my writing and appreciation of the written word. Anything by him, I’m sure you’ll enloy………thanx Georgie………..T xx
I have just seen the news sweety and wanted to tell you that the two Doctors that caught the Ebola virus have been cured by a new vaccine and they are now immune to this deadly virus therefor they will be able to treat all those poor souls who are suffering this awfull disease. Just how beautiful is that news and I thought it was right to tell everyone who reads this piece about that wonderful news.
That is another disease that we now have control of because of all the hard work our scientists put into the subject of medicine. This will now benefit the whole world and particularly the parts of the world that are so prone to these awful diseases. We are so lucky to have the healthcare that we enjoy and should all pray for the poor souls who have such difficulty getting seen by a Doctor.
My prayers are with those Doctors and the souls that are suffering. You see! there are so many wonderful different types of beauty in the world that God has given to us, we are so lucky to recieve his love and care.
I love you sweety

Dear T, I thought it was an interesting topic to tackle the wonder of beauty. It is true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I wish we could all see the beauty around us as God designed it to be. I can only imagine the glory and splendor of the new heaven and earth He promises for the new world at Christ’s return. We will be able to see so much more that our flesh limitations only show us in shadows of his Love. The fact that God the Father himself is described as having a brilliant light that no mortal can look upon without dying, explains the power of light….how beautiful it really is. The light of God representing a sacred and holiness so extreme in beauty that our minds cannot handle it. To be clothed in the righteous light of God must be amazingly powerful in beauty. I have always felt a spiritual high out in nature and that is where I find such beauty and awe. The details found in nature amaze me.
Tony, on the selfish side, I am beaming, because for some reason, whether it be you wear rose tinted glasses or God is using His grace upon your eyes, I am moved that you found beauty in me. Bless your dear soul. To have your loving attention is beautiful! xox I love you. Cherie
