Hi guys! Sorry I’ve been off for the past day working hard on poetry…….some things in the pipeline. I wanted to touch on friendship again on my post today because it seems to be SO prevalent in my life, that I cannot deny or disregard the effect it is having on my life. As many of you know I’ve been dealing with a disease that, for the most part has me housebound for lack of basic mobility skills. Well, friendship and love have come into the equation where my health is concerned. But I am getting a little ahead of myself. First I would like to pay special greetings and salutations to my dear friend Georgina Richardson who has single handedly saved my stats on this blog for the past 48 hours. She has been the biggest supporter of this blog and over the past day or so, during my absence, took it upon herself to go back and make comments on a ton of my past posts going all the way back some 53 posts ago. Her comments are invaluable to this blog. She has been laying her life open for all to see. If I could direct your attention to one of her recent comments on the “ANGELS” post. At the top of this page there is a search box, just type in ANGELS and it will take you to the post I’m talking about. Go into the comments section of that post and you will find one of the most AMAZING true stories you’ll ever read. In fact, if you click on the comments section of any of my posts, you will probably find Georgina there. Her and several other friends are responsible for the survival and success of this blog. I challenge your curiosity to go into the comments section and read for yourself, what friendship REALLY is. The comments here are worthy of praise because they are bubbling over with kindness and the joy of being friends. They are a joy to me, and even though it sometimes takes a day or so for me to respond to some of them, eventually I do. And I can’t tell you how many times I have spent hours just reading the comment section here……..everyone is so smart and well read and flat out NICE to each other. It’s an honor to be a part of it. The friendships I have been making of late have also been improving my over all health. It’s like osmosis or something, the longer you are around kindness and generosity of spirit, the more it rubs off on you and for me it has been healing. I’m going to entire post in the next day or so about this subject, but for now just KNOW that these friends of mine have me actually going outside for exercise. A friggin’ MIRACLE in and of itself. I have witnessed some extraordinary things in my life, but what’s going on here in the comment section of this blog is EXTRAORDINARY………take a look for yourself…….I dare you. Thank you Georgina for holding things together around here for me……..like I said a few posts back….You’re an ANGEL Georgie……….and to All of my other friends who come here and share stories and experiences, just because I haven’t mentioned you here today……doesn’t mean that I’m not currently buying a Downtown L.A. billboard to recognize just how much of a Joy you ALL are………..Love to you, and my heartfelt thanks………glide on dreamers, there’s a place for you wherever your heart leads you!………..Friends, the stuff of LIFE……….I am Dartanion2……and that’s the way I see it…………..cheers………….t xx

Dear Tony, I agree that friendship enriches and expands the quality of our life . We can not do it alone or remain isolated as we journey through our lives. Helping one another can be so important . Often it is meaningful and they can feel pure joy to be helpful when needed. It is true when people care deeply about each others needs being met that a bond between them grows as well as good memories. To reach out to a dear friend brings us into a new source of joy and inner satisfaction relationally. If we invest ourselves and life skills to help another friend when they are in need of assistance it build up both lives in excellent least expected ways. It is an adventure to live and develop such friendship but it proves time and time again to be the best thing you can do. To encourage each other and help a friend go forward with help to get out and about refreshes their soul. All good comes from such sincere loving friendship. It keeps us energized and ready to face life’s challenges in creative ways to problem solve and not feel overwhelmed or crushed under any circumstances knowing others care and understand. They choose to love and be there for you. You are valued and they care for you . They know you care about them and would equally help you if you needed it. Mutuality and being compatible in a bond that is not easily broken gives a secure footing relationally and makes it enjoyable to celebrate life and giving value and loving kindness shines forth between one friends soul to another. How amazing ! So glad you shared this loving gift of a devoted friend making a big difference in your life when you need it most. T` that was a wonderful surprise this morning to read on here. I feel so blessed that you are getting so much positiveness from this blog and that everyone else is reading and enjoying your superb hard work on here also sweety. I look forward every morning to reading what you have put on next, although you do make it difficult when you talk about films I haven`t seen yet!! I will do a post for you by email about the cosmos and see if I can come up with some interesting facts for you, then you can decide on whether it is suitable for the blog or not, ok!! Thank you for all those lovely compliments sweety, you are really spoiling me with love and it`s just wonderful to recieve it from you. I am so glad that all this is having such a positive effect on your health as that means that all the love and encouragement you are getting from everyone here is doing you good and thats wonderful to know that it is all making life just that little bit easier for you. When I say that you are special
It`s not just a throw away phrase.
That I use to lift your heart
On ordinary days.
It`s because you simply mean the world to me

I know how much it takes to express your heart in poetry…..I a humbled and moved my friend……you’ve done so much for me already I really don’t feel like I deserve such a heartfelt piece from you…..maybe we can give this a bigger audience………my mother read this by the way…..and she to tell you thank you so much for all of your kindnesses and a special thanx for the book of your poetry you sent her……I want us to do some collaborating here G…….you have so much knowkedge and personal experience ythat it seems obvious we should do some posts together…..maybe you can figure a way to include Alice as well…..up to you…….I just want to say that your friendship is so important to me that I’m feeling guikty for taking so long to reply to these comments…….I think I’ve bitten off more than I can handle withal my upcoming surgeries and everything…..I could really use your help…..we’ll talk more later sweety………I love you too………smiles…….T xx
