Hi guys……..sorry for yesterdays absence, my surgery left my body a little drained…….my energy has returned in full force……..thank you so much for all the emails and well wishes……smiles!!……On with it shall we?  EXTRA SENSORY PERCEPTION is todays topic for discussion.  It’s interesting to me because whenever I mention the subject of Metaphysics the inevitable reply is always something along this line, ” OH!!  You mean ESP or the sixth sense, right?”  You have to remember that ESP is as broad a term as Metaphysics is.  Both imply acquisition of information by means outside of the inherent, very limiting, assumptions of science.  I will be relating personal experiences involving ESP, of my own and others, in an upcoming post, but today I would like to open the discussion with some facts and background info.  The world of science limits us to “only” being able to gather and receive information from the past to the present.  According to science, receiving information from the future an impossibility.  ESP has a dozen specific ways of, not only challenging science in this area, but defying science to disprove many of them, including ESP, telepathy, telekinesis etc. The scientific community rejects ESP due to the absence of an evidence base, the lack of a theory that would explain ESP, the lack of experimental techniques which can provide reliably positive results, and considers ESP to be a “pseudoscience”.  Now, when I think of this, not only does it get my dander up but it makes me want to scream things like, “Doesn’t anyone see the stupidity in requiring an explanation for the inexplicable!?”  I mean, shouldn’t the idea be to manifest the inexplicable and then examine the discovery, so as to define it as well as explain it?  Thank God J.B. Rhine and his wife Louisa actually did, exactly that.  They are the couple that developed the original “Zener Cards” that we know today as ESP cards, and lab tested specific people over decades and all the while publishing results annually.  They were major contributors to the foundations of the brilliant Parapsychology Department at Duke University.

                        Among scientists in the “National Academy of Sciences” (this is a Wikipedia quote) “96% describe themselves as skeptical of ESP, 4% believed in psi.  Among all scientists surveyed, 10% felt that parapsychological research should be encouraged.”  So basically, of our community of scientists here in America, 9 out of 10 think ESP studies are NOT worth investigating.  This is hard to fathom since science itself had to be forced on the world over a very long period of time to become accepted as viable.  You would think that they would learn from their own history that it is in the very nature of humanity to understand it’s own evolution.  So, my question is; Why doesn’t science see that Metaphysics (ESP etc.) is a part of human evolution?  Science truly “needs” an injection of ESP…

                         I agree with FREUD (1856-1939) who theorized ” that telepathy may have been the original archaic method by which individuals understood one another.  As a better means of communication evolved—–one that could be readily intelligible to the sensory organs——-the original archaic methods were pushed into the background of the subconscious where they may still persist, waiting to manifest themselves under certain conditions.”  This hypothesis of Freuds, is one of the most astute to come out in support from the world of science. It is currently , glaringly obvious to psi reasearchers, the world over, that some individuals (functioning largely on their moods and psychic needs) are able to draw on their latent ESP abilities.  Some gifted individuals are even able to make regular and practical use of the seemingly rare powers of ESP.  The world of ESP and Metaphysics is indeed upon us and it is my prediction that the WORLD NEWS Headlines will be overflowing with reports of psychic abilities and phenomenon to such a degree, within the next 10 – 15 years, that the world of science, and indeed the world itself will no longer be in denial of the fact that humanity is endowed with latent abilities that have been waiting for this period of man’s evolution to manifest themselves……….I am Dartanion2…….and that’s the way I see it!!……..cheers………T
